Privacy Policy
Effective: August 24, 2025
🔒 Your Privacy
We take privacy seriously… but we can explain it in a way that isn’t scary. Think of this as your cheat-sheet for how your info travels once you submit your case(s).
🌐 Scope
This Policy covers information collected online through our Services. If you don’t submit a lead, we don’t see your case details. When you do submit, you’re asking us to route that information to participating law firms and partners.
📋 What We Collect
- Contact Info: name, email, phone, address.
- Case Info: what you type in about your claim, documents you upload, your chosen category.
- Usage Data: IP, browser/device, pages viewed, referrer, timestamps, approximate location.
- Cookies: to remember preferences, measure traffic, and serve ads.
- Partner Data: insights from analytics and advertising partners (like Google and AdRoll).
✨ How We Use It
- Connect you with participating law firms and related partners.
- Provide and improve the Services.
- Talk to you about your inquiry and follow-up steps.
- Run analytics with Google Analytics.
- Retarget you with ads using tools like AdRoll.
- Prevent fraud, secure the Services, and comply with law.
🤖 AI Features
We may use automated systems to classify your narrative, highlight intake questions, or draft a quick summary. These tools help with speed but don’t replace human judgment—only law firms make decisions about representation.
📊 Ads & Analytics
We partner with Google Analytics, AdRoll, and similar services to understand how people use our site and to show you ads after you visit. These partners may use cookies, device IDs, or tags that share your IP and browsing activity.
By submitting a lead and using our Services, you consent to these analytics and advertising uses.
🤝 How We Share
- Law Firms & Partners: When you submit, we share your info with participating firms and related partners so they can evaluate and contact you.
- Marketing & Data Partners: For analytics, retargeting, and campaign measurement.
- Service Providers: Vendors who help us with hosting, email, analytics, and security.
- Legal: If required by law or to protect rights.
- Business Transfers: If we undergo a merger, acquisition, or restructuring.
Once your info is shared with a law firm or partner, their privacy policies apply. We don’t control what they do with your info.
📅 Retention
We keep info as long as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, meet legal duties, and enforce agreements.
🧸 Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your info. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to safeguard it.
🚫 Kids
Our Services are not for children under 13. If we discover we collected such info, we’ll delete it.
⚖️ No Attorney–Client Relationship
Submitting information here does not create an attorney–client relationship with Pursuing or any law firm. That happens only if and when you formally engage with a firm.
🔄 Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. New versions will be posted with an updated effective date.
