She thrives on helping you out of a tough situation and into a better life. Well known and respected throughout Collin, Tarrant and Denton Counties, she approaches your case with a hard-hitting, aggressive legal style, serving and advising you toward your best outcome. Casey worked in a variety of departments as a prosecutor and an intern with the Tarrant and Denton County District Attorney’s Offices including the Crimes Against Children, Juvenile and Family Violence units. With experience in more than 45 jury trials, she is prepared to take your case to a jury if justice requires. Casey has presented more than 900 felony cases to the grand jury, and has worked with local police agencies to investigate and prepare cases for grand jury presentation. In addition to her jury trials, Casey maintained a very active courtroom schedule as a prosecutor including punishment hearings, motions to suppress, bench trials, probation revocation hearings and bond reduction hearings. Casey carries this experience with her in her defense practice and is always prepared to represent her clients in any courtroom or grand jury proceeding. Casey grew up in Plano and graduated from Plano Senior High School. She earned a BS in Education from the University of North Texas and taught school in Plano and Richardson before beginning law school. During law school, Casey worked as a family law intern at Easley & Marquis, P.L.L.C. and a criminal law intern at the Denton County District Attorney’s Office. Casey earned her Juris Doctorate from Texas A & M University School of Law in 2003.
