John Hine received his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL. M.) from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Prior to attending the University of Florida, John earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his Bachelor of Science from Clemson University. John’s main areas of focus are Complex Estate Planning (which includes wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, durable powers of attorney, and health care powers of attorney), Corporate Formations, Tax (including Tax Exempt Organizations), and Probate Administration and Litigation. In addition to practicing law, John is also a Visiting Lecturer at Clemson University where he teaches Estate and Retirement Planning as well as Individual Income Taxation in the School of Accountancy and Finance.
