Ivan Velasco, Jr.'s parents immigrated to the United States from El Salvador in the late 1960s. Ivan grew up speaking Spanish and English. He graduated from Harvard University in 1998, and from Lewis and Clark Law School in 2001. He has been practicing law since 2001, and now exclusively practices immigration law.
