C. Christopher Newberg

Chris Newberg is an attorney and partner at Rodenhouse Law Group. He helps individuals and businesses in civil litigation, business, cannabis, intellectual property, and entertainment matters. Since joining Rodenhouse Law Group in 2014, Chris has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of disputes throughout Michigan and beyond. He has considerable experience in the federal court system, representing clients in employment discrimination, wage and hour, intellectual property, and business tort cases. In the state court system, Chris helps clients with cases of all shapes and sizes, ranging from contract matters to business disputes to real estate issues to cases involving fraud and theft. Outside of the courtroom, Chris works with Michigan businesses on a variety of formation, governance, compliance, employment, transactional, and related legal matters. He helps dozens of clients start and structure new businesses every year and frequently works with those same clients as their companies grow and evolve. A large portion of Chris’ business practice involves working with cannabis businesses. From the initial concept, to the licensing phase, to the operational compliance phase, Chris’ legal experience along with his understanding of how cannabis businesses internally operate makes him an ideal advocate for clients in this new and exciting space.
