Bruce J. Embry is a founder and current managing partner of Gregg, Hunt, Ahern & Embry and heads the firm's real estate department. Mr. Embry is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, and is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts also serving on that Association's National Affairs and Title Insurance Subcommittee. Mr. Embry is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been voted by his peers as one of Boston's "Super Lawyers" for the last five years. Mr. Embry's more than 30 years of experience runs the gamut of real estate practice including residential and commercial conveyancing, leasing, condominium law and condominium conversion, land use and development, and zoning. Mr. Embry has helped clients develop hundreds of residential and commercial units in the Greater Boston area. As a result of Mr. Embry's long-standing and highly regarded presence in the Cambridge legal community, Gregg, Hunt, Ahern & Embry provides residential legal services to the Harvard, Harvard Business School, and MIT faculty and staff, and is a closing firm of choice for virtually all bank and institutional mortgage lenders in the Greater Boston area. Mr. Embry sits on the Board of Corporators of Cambridge Savings Bank and serves the Lexington Economic Development Advisory Committee upon appointment by the Town Selectmen. He is also a past Director of Springstep, Inc. Mr. Embry graduated from Tufts University (BA,1971), magna cum laude in Economics. At Tufts he was a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon National Economics Honor Society, and was a Danforth Fellowship and Woodrow Wilson Fellowship nominee. Mr. Embry was a varsity football letterman and a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity.
