John effectively represents individuals and business in a wide range of legal matters. He earned his law degree from the University of Virginia, served as a federal appellate law clerk to a member of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and practiced law in the commercial litigation section of an international law firm before returning home to Shreveport. John is admitted to practice in Louisiana and Texas. John is a member of the Shreveport City Council and serves as chairman of its Audit and Finance Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Bar Foundation, a past governor-at-large of the Bar Association of the Federal Fifth Circuit, and a past president of the Shreveport Bar Foundation. John has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by SuperLawyers.com and as a “Top Attorney” by SB Magazine.
