Biography

Virginia is a life-long resident of Northern Kentucky. She is the daughter of a Peruvian immigrant whose mother raised her by herself after her father passed away when she was five years old. She became a lawyer to help people. On the first day of law school, her professor asked, how many of you are here to simply make money in a corporate setting and how many of you are here to serve the public and help people. Out of the 120 students in that class, she was one of only five people who raised their hand to serve the public and help people. Virginia represents her clients diligently with a great degree of compassion and care. She advocates aggressively for her clients with a desire to serve the best interests of children. She has a vast array of clients from every socio-economic and demographic background. Virginia graduated from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2007 with her Juris Doctor and cum laude honors. While in law school, she was a member of the trial advocacy team and interned for the Campbell County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. She is dually licensed in Kentucky and Ohio and has been admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Kentucky Federal District Court. Virginia established and grew her firm as a solo practitioner for many years, focusing on the areas of family and criminal law. She has experience in bankruptcy, small estate planning and she has received training through the Supreme Court of Ohio to provide mediation and parenting coordination services. Education Salmon P.
