Carolyn Chen

Carolyn Chen joined Spiros Law, P.C. in 2021. She obtained her J.D. in 2021 from the University of Illinois College of Law, cum laude. Carolyn has always been passionate about advocating and providing justice for people that have been harmed by the actions of others. During law school, Carolyn was selected as one of the PILI Grant Recipients of 2019 and spent her first summer working at the Champaign County Public Defender’s office. She was then selected as the PILI fellow at the Land of Lincoln Legal Aid during her second year and spent her second summer representing low-income individuals in domestic relations, orders of protection, and expungement and sealing matters. During the second semester of her second year, Carolyn participated in the Veterans Legal Clinic through the University of Illinois, where she represented veterans on housing, discharge upgrade, and domestic relations matters.
