Attorney Rua began her legal career in 2004 as a family law paralegal. She worked as a paralegal for over ten years, before graduating law school, cum laude, in 2015. While in law school, Attorney Rua focused on family law, earning a concentration with honors in that area. She earned both her undergrad and law degrees while working full time as a paralegal and raising a family. Attorney Rua exclusively handles family law matters, including divorce, legal separation, annulment, custody, child support, alimony and post judgment matters. She focuses primarily on negotiating cases and bringing them to settlement. In law school, she obtained a distinguished award for her negotiating skills. Attorney Rua acknowledges that sometimes settlements are not obtainable. In these cases, she will fight aggressively for her clients in the court room.
