Andrew P. Connors is a law professor at Liberty University School of Law and principal attorney at Darkhorse Law. He focuses his law practice on business law, intellectual property law, contracts, civil litigation, and mediation. He heads the intellectual property program at Liberty University School of Law and serves as the Director of the Legal Writing Center. He teaches courses on intellectual property, trademarks, mediation, and legal research and writing. Super Lawyers Magazine named him a Rising Star for Appeals, Business Litigation, and Intellectual Property from 2012-2020. He was also named as part of the "Legal Elite" for Intellectual Property law by Virginia Business Magazine. He has previously served as the Vice President of the Montgomery-Radford Bar Association. He is a Barrister in the Ted Dalton Inns of Court and a member of the Board of Governors of the Virginia State Bar Litigation Section. Before entering private practice, he served two years as a law clerk to William G. Petty at the Court of Appeals of Virginia. He was a Managing Editor of the Liberty University Law Review. As a litigator, he has represented clients in all state trial courts in Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia, the Court of Appeals of Virginia, including the full Court of Appeals sitting en banc, and the Supreme Court of Virginia. He has handled cases involving all kinds of intellectual property matters, including trademark, trade secret, patent, and copyright suits or potential suits.
