John William Ament

John is a member of the Real Estate, Estate Planning and Estate Administration, Corporate and Business Planning practice groups at Ament Law Group, P.C.. In this capacity, he advises clients on all aspects of real estate transactions, helps clients plan or administer their estates, and leans on his real-world corporate experiences to provide clients with insight on corporate structure and planning matters. A summa cum laude graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management, John began his career working at Respironics (now Philips/Respironics) in its International Logistics Department, and prior to starting at the firm worked in management within Del Monte Foods’ Integrated Business Planning Department. While working full-time, John graduated from Duquesne University’s joint evening JD/MBA program and served as a senior staff member on Duquesne’s Business Law Journal. John worked as a sole-practitioner in the Murrysville area, for two years prior to joining the firm. John is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania state courts and the federal courts in the Western District of Pennsylvania.
