My areas of practice include asset protection and preservation, business formations and succession planning, corporate governance, estate planning, real estate and commercial transactions, and tax planning. My experience encompasses counseling business owners in matters pertaining to entity formation and initial start-up strategies, and the structuring of sales and acquisitions. I prepare and advise business owners on matters pertaining to buy-sell agreements, operating agreements and shareholder agreements, asset transfers, and succession planning issues. In addition, I counsel clients in matters involving estate and tax planning, including tax audits and related issues, working together with them and their financial advisors on structuring and implementing plans to meet their specific needs. I have served as counsel to several small townships and municipalities advising them on matters relating to the development and implementation of zone and land-use guidelines.
