Olivia Mitchell is a compassionate Junior Associate Attorney with Stange Law Firm, PC. Located in our Clayton, MO family law office location, she is ready and able to assist individuals throughout St. Louis County, MO and the surrounding areas. Olivia obtained her Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law in May 2021. While in law school, she was the recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship while also serving as the Treasurer for the Black Lawyer Student Association. She was also a member of the Street Law Student Organization, the First Chair Society and a SLU Law Admissions Ambassador. Before attending law school, Olivia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Missouri – Columbia, graduating Cum Laude. While earning her undergraduate degree, Olivia also was an Outstanding Senior Recipient for Research, a TRIO CAT Scholarship recipient and was given the First Generation Scholar Award. She also served as Treasurer of the Human Development and Family Studies Student Association and was a member of the Black Collegians Gospel Choir. Olivia is currently licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri. Prior to joining the St. Louis Family Lawyers at Stange Law Firm, PC, Olivia spent many years as a social worker for various organizations where she gained experience with complying with federal, state, and local law as well as organizational policies and procedures. She would regularly collaborate with attorneys in providing position reports to various courts; oversee face to face interviews; develop and execute individual treatment plans; facilitate group discussions; and also work as a team to help facilitate any needed care.
