Lindsey Erickson

Ms. Erickson’s diverse practice includes all levels of adult felonies and misdemeanors, including drug manufacturing, sale, and possession; sex offenses; aggravated battery; aggravated robbery; homicide; domestic violence; property crimes; all levels of juvenile crime; DUIs and other traffic offenses. She also represents individuals before administrative panels, including school board expulsion hearings and driver’s license suspension hearings. Education: Ms. Erickson is a 1991 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. She earned her juris doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1994. Admitted: Ms. Erickson is licensed to practice in the State of Kansas, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Professional History: After graduating from law school, Ms. Erickson clerked, became an associate, and then became a partner with Carl E. Cornwell in Overland Park, Kan. She later opened Erickson Scherff LLC, a Kansas City-area criminal defense practice with Dionne M. Scherff. Erickson Scherff LLC joined with Joseph, Hollander & Craft LLC in 2016. Membership: Ms. Erickson is a member of the Kansas, Johnson County, and Wyandotte County Bar Associations. She also is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Ms. Erickson is a Barrister of the American Inns of Court, Earl E. O’Connor Chapter. In 2016, the Johnson County District Court Chief Administrative Judge appointed Ms. Erickson to sit on the Juvenile Corrections Advisory Board.
