To chase, follow or take legal action against someone or something etc in order to catch them, attack them or to get a legal remedy etc.
I was admitted to practice in 1988 and since that time have been in continual private practice. I am a member of the Kansas Women's Attorney's Association, The Topeka Area Bankruptcy Counsel and the Riley County Bar Association. I am a past President of the Riley County Bar Association and have appeared twice before the United States Supreme Court and routinely appear in Federal Court. I have argued cases before the Kansas Court of Appeals and the Kansas Supreme Court. Presently, I am co-sponsor of a bill to amend the Kansas Protection From Abuse Statute to allow the victims of abuse a greater time period to seek orders against abusers once they have testified in the abuser's criminal trial. My valued paralegal also co-sponsors that bill. My bankruptcy practice over the years has involved me in cases seeking student loan hardship discharge on a regular basis and one of my Supreme Court appearances was on this topic. I offer office visits by Skype, Face time, Zoom and Google Chat. I pride myself on accessibility and on working hard to achieve client goals. My office is vibrant and hard working place and our client's needs come first. View More ›
