Bill Price is the current chair of the Institute for Illinois Business Laws. He also has served as chair for the Corporation, Securities and Business Law Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association, and is a member of that Section Council. Bill also is a member of the Administrative Law Section Council, for which he is general editor of the 2007 edition of the ISBA Handbook of Illinois Administrative Law, and edits the Section newsletter. Bill served for two years as the state’s Small Business Utility Advocate, appointed by Governor Jim Edgar and confirmed by the Illinois Senate. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, a graduate of the Duke University School of Law and holder of a Masters in Public Policy Sciences from Duke, Bill Price has taught courses in business law and high tech entrepreneurship (including both private equity and venture capital) at the Stuart Graduate School of Business, Illinois Institute of Technology.
