Biography

Attorney Ryan Ross is a graduate of Doane College (B.S. 1992 with distinction) and Willamette Law School (J.D. 1995). He is admitted to practice law in the United States Federal Court, as well as Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska state courts. Ryan handles primarily real estate property matters (such as title opinions, title guarantee, foreclosures, deeds, sales, acquisitions, condominium transactions, purchase agreements, contracts, leases, options, easements, restrictive covenants, construction liens, landlord-tenant, evictions, subdivision, and zoning and board adjustment items), business matters (corporations, nonprofit corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, acquisitions, sales, mergers, contracts, succession planning, dissolutions, and licensing), and estate planning and probate (e.g. wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and living wills, small estates, complex estates). He also handles banking/commercial law (such as mortgage and loan agreements, lender work-outs, intercreditor agreements, and collateral securitization), and commercial collection matters. Ryan held clerkships throughout law school. Immediately upon graduation, he was hired as general counsel for a gaming company who owned/managed riverboats and land-based casinos in the Midwest. After joining our firm, he became a partner in only four years. Ryan serves on a number of charitable, community, religious, and legal organizations. In addition to his fast-paced professional life, Ryan is a nature enthusiast and a proponent of renewable energy projects. He spends his leisure time hiking, golfing, running, biking, bowling, camping, traveling, and gardening – just to name a few of his interests. He is happiest with a pack on his back and miles of wilderness in front of him. Despite the many things on his plate (both professionally and personally), Ryan’s door is always open. He listens to his clients and is sincerely committed in helping you achieve success in your endeavors! View More ›
