Some of her publications include articles about vestibular injuries caused by traumatic brain injuries, the Colorado regulations governing motor vehicle insurance, health insurance subrogation in the personal injury case, and medical-legal issues related to neck and back injuries caused by car crashes. Melissa is active in the community, helping organizations that assist people who have been injured as they work toward recovery. She has served as the President of the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado, as a board member of the Chanda Plan Foundation, and as a board member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers’ Association.
