Renée N. G. Stackhouse offers robust representation to clients throughout the San Diego region in both criminal and civil matters. While Renee primarily heads the firm's civil litigation practice, taking on an array of matters ranging from business disputes to all manner of plaintiffs'? personal injury litigation, she is also a formidable criminal defense attorney. In particular, she is well-equipped to defend those accused of DUI, having been qualified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the International Association of Chiefs of Police to administer field sobriety tests, detect impaired motorists and instruct police officers in these methods. Renee obtained her Bachelor of Science in marketing and business administration prior to pursuing her Juris Doctor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, graduating with honors in 2008. Since then, she has deepened her legal knowledge through training in multiple areas at Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College and working with experienced litigators at one of San Diego's leading plaintiffs' personal injury firms before joining her current firm in 2011. A San Diego native, Renee dedicates significant time and resources outside her practice to community outreach efforts. As a zealous supporter of the Human Rights Campaign's mission to promote equality and legal protection for LGBT individuals and their families, she is a member of the organization's Federal Club.
