Melissa Kleminski Bower

Melissa Kleminski Bower is an Associate Attorney with the Stewart Law Group. Having joined the legal team in 2011, she works from the firm’s Peoria office location. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000 with a 3.6 GPA from the University of Arizona. Her Juris Doctor degree (2004) is from The University of Denver Sturm Law School. No stranger to personal challenges, Melissa worked full time while attending law school classes at night, holding externships, and participating as a volunteer in legal programs. As a law school student, she took a month and travelled to Beijing, China, in the summer abroad program, something she calls a "humbling experience.” Early in her legal career, she took a job as a Judicial Clerk for a South New Jersey family court judge, the position solidified her determination to practice family law back here in Arizona. Around the office, she is known to be funny, compassionate, and fair. She realizes how challenging divorce and family law matters can be and that her clients are going through one of the most difficult times in their lives. They need to trust that she will be honest and forthcoming about what may or may not happen in the case. Melissa believes in complete honesty, so her clients know what to expect and can prepare themselves for what may come. Because communication is essential for the best possible outcome, she believes in keeping each of her clients involved every step of the way. Assisting her clients in reaching a resolution outside the courtroom whenever possible, she litigates aggressively and effectively when necessary. Away from work, she enjoys photography and volunteers with ‘Ask a Lawyer’ and with Habitat for Humanity.
