Evelyn Brooks grew up in Little Rock and is a native Arkansan. Her mother Elizabeth Brooks was one of the early women lawyers to practice in Arkansas graduating from law school in 1963. Evelyn attended Hendrix College and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she graduated with her law degree. Evelyn has been practicing law devoted to the areas of workers' compensation and Social Security disability since 1987. With over thirty years of experience she is a leader in Arkansas Workers' Compensation practice. She lectures on workers' compensation law in Arkansas at educational seminars and has spoken on panels for the Arkansas Bar Association. She is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, the Workers' Compensation section of the ABA, the Washington County Bar Association, NOSSCR (National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives), and the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association.
